Storage Terms
Outdoor Storage Booking Terms
These terms summarize the customer-facing requirements for booking outdoor storage at Maplewood Auto Service. A signed storage agreement at drop-off controls the final rental terms.
Payment and Booking
Online payment reserves the requested storage size and preferred drop-off time. The booking is still subject to staff confirmation, lot availability, and completion of the storage agreement before anything is left on the property.
Payment Processor
Online payments are processed securely by Stripe. Maplewood Auto Service does not receive or store full card numbers through the website. Stripe may show its own checkout, security, and receipt information as part of payment processing.
Required Documents
Customer must bring a valid ID, current registration or ownership documentation, and proof of active insurance for the vehicle, trailer, boat, motorcycle, equipment, or stored item.
Insurance and Liability
Maplewood Auto Service provides outdoor parking space only and does not provide insurance for stored vehicles, trailers, boats, motorcycles, equipment, or contents. Customer remains responsible for weather, hail, theft, vandalism, collision, leaks, mechanical failure, battery drain, pests, contents, and third-party damage except where Minnesota law does not allow responsibility to be limited.
Condition and Access
Stored items must be locked, safely parked, and towable or drivable unless staff approves otherwise in writing. Access, assigned space, gate procedures, and removal requirements are confirmed by staff.
Refunds and Cancellations
If staff cannot accommodate a paid booking, Maplewood Auto Service will coordinate a refund or alternate space with the customer. Customer-requested cancellations and partial periods are handled according to the signed storage agreement and applicable payment processor rules.
Legal Note
This page is not legal advice and is not the final contract. Minnesota law may impose requirements for storage rental agreements, liens, default notices, abandoned property, and owner liability. The signed storage agreement controls the rental relationship.
